Overview
As people’s minds changes every day to explore more and more for buying a single product. Incase if it is a furnishing item or decors? people can take double the time to finalize.
Our team built a prototype to solve better experience for people. This app have different categories of home furnishing and decorating items whereby they can look at each and every model in real time instead of looking at images or low poly 3d models, Moreover, people can interact with product before they buying it, and in turn, people can easily finalize their products. And also they can explore any furnishing items from their home itself. But the product have lack of user experience and the UI also is not good as expected., Prior to launch to market, I planned to revamp the entire app and it is my first project in my company. I bore all the responsibilities to restructure the whole app workflow even though development properties must remained same as a challenge. Lastly, I have planned to add aesthetic look, better user experience workflow and also planned to incorporate some unique features.

Goals and challenges
My major goal is to make the user experience even better and improve visual experience of the app. What was the challenge was app's development properties were constant that I had to redesign the app and incorporate features without interrupting the current workflow.
Who are the targeted audience?
Users who are all going to buy the app, spend their time and money for the app.
Targeted Audience categories
Primary Audience - Direct Buyers ( Architect companies, interior designers, etc.
Secondary Audience - Indirect spenders ( People who are all going to construct , buy or renovate houses & furnishing items)

Analyzing and Ideation
Before starting the project, I planned to analyze the visual experience and user experience of the first version of app to figure out marketing space in the market. After analyzing the app, I have chosen the design thinking process of IDEO - Deep dive Methodology.

What people thinks of product?
Screenshots of old version app

I've planned to conduct a quantitative as well as qualitative analysis with different set of targeted audience. So I'm taking the old version of the app and book appointment with the primary audiences and also interviewed some close circle secondary audiences. I've got various insights from the audiences it will help us to improve our product in a better way
Pain points and feedbacks
Primary Audience
Not every customer prefer this kind of visualization .It depends upon their needs
Storing multiple model is difficult. It will increases the app size and it's difficult to handle
Need some interactions like moving up and down and zoom in and zoom out models. Lack of interaction
If some features are possible
we don't need any other software's in the market.
3D Models texture & quality should be improve
Measuring the room's size
with the app is much
needed
Is it possible to be integrated with current website for web based visualization?
Performance of app is very low. We have high quality models setup.
Perplexed over app compatibility to all
devices
Interface looks too much clumsy and colors are not appealing
Virtual walkthrough is
possible with DECAR?
Quality of app need to be improved. It is not up to
the mark
Pricing factor must be
considered as priority
Experiencing wise its
very poor
There is no proper guidance of app.
App is uncertain while placing multiple models in the surface
How we can handle different
clients with the app.
Secondary Audience
First thing is pricing factor
if it is paid. we have to think affordability why because it is the major key.
Don't know what to do with the interface. There is too much information.
We need pleasant shopping experience at home .Like feel the colors, Textures, patterns etc.
App is lagging for some models and the models are like a toy not that much realistic.
App is lagging for some models and the models are like a toy not that much realistic.
AR Visualization is not that
much good
Overall experience is need
to improve.

Constructing solutions for the opportunities
Getting all the insights from the research, feedbacks & painpoints from users and the prototype testing iterations. I've sorted down the major key issues and started how might we? sessions with stake holders and teams to finalize the discussion and get to know what can be possible to do and what don't!. We have sorted out all possible solutions as much we can that is needed for targeted audience. Our key selling point is augment reality that we have used functionalities wisely.

Solution Findings

Developed better visualization
& interactions in the app

App is uncertain while placing multiple models in the surface
App is lagging for some models and the models are like a toy not that much realistic.
Performance of app is very low. We have high quality models setup.

Technically improvised performance of the app now add ,delete multiple models seamlessly & also experience high quality models as much as possible

There is no proper guidance of app.
Don't know what to do with the interface. There is too much information.

The interface is designed to make the people's experience better and easy. Now added guided walkthrough over the app.

Experiencing wise its
very poor
Overall experience is need
to improve.

Every touchpoints of the user is now interactable inside the app in a better way and loaded with much more added features to make their buying decisions easy & fun

Need some interactions like moving up and down and zoom in and zoom out models. Lack of interaction
We need pleasant shopping experience at home .Like feel the colors, Textures, patterns etc.
If some features are possible
we don't need any other software's in the market.

After went lot of technical iterations we added lots of features now everyone can able to zoom in & zoom out the models, Rotate the models in 360 degree to experience the reality at their space and some unique features like they can change colors , textures, patterns of the model as per their wish.

Storing multiple model is difficult. It will increases the app size and it's difficult to handle
3D Models texture & quality should be improve
3D Models texture & quality should be improve

We improve the 3D model experience without compromise the quality and also the app can store multiple models with low size and gives better experience without any lag.

Interface looks too much clumsy and colors are not appealing

Worked on the interface as possible. I can do the important features as user's handy to touch & interact with the app. Also work with the brand colors to make the interface looks better & clean.

How we can handle different
clients with the app.

Inside the app we added a new feature
for each clients you can able to create
separate folders and store their preferable items separately

How the evaluation process happens before getting solution
Iterating Low-fi and High -fi wire frames more than five to seven times to covered all the major insights as possible after that we finalize to start the visual design of the app

Impacts
After resolving the major insights as much as possible, we planned to capture the market with the new version of our app by rolling out the product with some interior décors and architectural company thereby, getting sound response of clients, clients of clients and also receiving some feedbacks to get start our next phases of iterations
Primary Audience
Approval waiting period of customer is decreased
Time and effort decreased
Increased in productivity
Increased customer Retention rate
Increased in sales due to less decision making time
